a is for anika patterns

Within in the past week, I discovered the pattern work of Anika Starmer, and the delightful blog A is for Anika that displays her daily designs.  She develops patterns as a part of her routine art exercise, and I love them.  Ranging from ink wash to stamps to sharpie marker, she forces herself into an addictive ritual of pattern repeats.  I'm definitely keeping this work in mind as inspiration as I continue to incorporate daily art-making into my morning studio time.
